New for September 2025
Preschool and Afterschool Service
Provided there is sufficient interest in the service Ardagh NS will host Joanna's Preschool and Afterschool service providing parents with a top class, value for money, childcare option in the school GP room.
Pre School Care
(8:00am-9:25am)
From approx 8:00am until school begins at 9:25am pupils can come to school , meet their friends and classmates and prepare for the day ahead in a warm well supervised environment.
Infant Hour Childcare
(2:05pm -3:05pm)
To help out families who have older siblings finishing at 3:05pm, this service offers Junior and Senior Infant pupils a safe and fun environment to relax and wait to be be collected.
After School
(3:05- 6:00pm)
From 3:05pm when the school day ends until 6:00pm daily our afterschool service will allow pupils a safe and supportive environment to complete their homework, interact with their peers and relax. Healthy snacks are provided as part of this service.

Regional Marine School of the year 2024
National Success For Ardagh NS!!
Not alone have we been awarded our 8th Green Flag but we've only gone and won the award for best Marine Green School in the West and North!!!! We were one of 4 regional finalists in the running for the National Marine Green School Prize....A stellar achievement by Mr Devenney ,the Green School Committee, and all the girls and boys throughout the school.
